Introduction
The Preventive Plans workflow is the main part of the Preventive Maintenance product. It allows you to create routine maintenance plans that can be triggered either with time-based or value-based metrics.
Create time-based or value-based plans with the Create a new preventive plan form. Through the form you set all of the preventive plan's settings. Assign those that are responsible for the task, add a maintenance checklist, set priority, and most importantly, designate frecuency based on time or equipment value triggers.
Glossary
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Scheduled maintenance checks with the intention to reduce unplanned failures or issues.
- Time-based plan: A preventive maintenance plan scheduled to run at certain time intervals.
- Value-based plan: A preventive maintenance plan scheduled to run when equipment reaches certain metric intervals.
- Work Order (WO): An authorized request sent to contractors or service personnel to complete a maintenance task containing relative information for the job.
