Introductory note
There are basically two kinds of Cotalker users:
- End-users: use Cotalker to plan, execute, and communicate information.
- Administrators: Also known as admins, build arbitrary workflows and processes.
The Basics section contains everything an end-user needs to know (basic tools and graphic user interface). First-time admins will also benefit from this section.

Basic Concepts / Glossary: introductory notes on the fundamental concepts you will encounter in the Cotalker environment
Accessing the Platform:
- System Requirements: minimum and recommended requirements for using Cotalker on your computer or mobile device.
- Logging In: standard procedures for logging into the different platform versions: web client, Android, and iOS.
User-Interface Basics
- User-Interface Layout: overview of platform seccions: Main Menu, Tool Bar, Groups Panel, and Channel Workspace
- Main Menu Bar: general description of the options available on the main menu
- Tool Bar: overview of search tool and contact button
- Groups: explanation of groups, group types, and the tools found in group panel.
- Channels: discover the wide range of actions that can be taken from the channel workspace
Basic Tools
- Search Tool: search for users, tasks, channels, properties, and actions
- Actions Button: create tasks, channels, and link to URLs
- Surveys: learn how to fill out surveys and their main functions
- Tasks: view and interact with tasks
- Database: see how asset types organize information
- Dashboard: view company data on dashboards created with Metabase
- Reports: view answered surveys using display filters
